Someone You Can Look Up To
Over the years I’ve learned how important it is to look up to God and rely on God alone. But in this life, God wants us to have brothers and sisters in Christ so that we can help one another. As young adults, it’s super important to have someone that you can look up to. I look up to my parents, siblings and my closest friends. I learn things just from watching them and talking to them. I encourage you to find some wise and maybe older, that you can look up to and learn from. God wants to get us all somewhere and often we are here to help each other get to where God has called us to be. Lately I’ve been realizing how I truly want to make heaven more crowded. I go to church nights and I see young adults like me praising and worshiping God and crying out to Him and nothing makes me happier. The fact that we can stand alongside each other and praise The Most High together is just beautiful. There is something about worship when I hear nothing but the voices of all God’s children creating a harmony that even heaven can hear. I saw young adults praying with each other and it made me want to pray more. I have a prayer board and I want to fill it up. So, find a friend that will pray for you, cry with you, laugh with you and praise Jesus with you.
