Football Is Near

Football is literally around the corner! And here in Georgia, football is on our mind long before the first game. To be honest, I was so into Georgia football for months, and finally it got put on a back burner. I hardly went a day without wearing red and black. But I am no less of a fan during every day life than I am during football season. The Dawg in me is always on the inside whether its on the outside or not. I just know many things matter in life more than football. But it does matter a lot to me. And every day of every year I am a true fan. And today my dad gave me the news. The early rankings for the 2023 season……Alabama 1, Michigan 2 and Georgia 3. I am not too upset. There are many sports people that have their own rankings. Honestly a ranking don’t mean much to me. It’s how your team plays. And by now us Dawgs are used to playing great seasons but still not always being top ranked. That’s ok. Honestly there’s only so much you can know until you see your team play the actual games. There are questions about every team. But Georgia and Alabama have one in common. Who’s the Quarterback for the job? Alabama is a big rival for Georgia. And my dad said they're out for blood because of the 2021 natty. I am not worried. We could win or lose. We are not scheduled to play them but dad said we might in the SEC Championship. They want to beat us good. And we wanna beat them in hopes of winning a three-peat. I don’t really hate teams. I just love Georgia and know where I stand. If you wanna talk smack and tell me your team’s better, I will stand up for my team and tell you why it’s great to be a Georgia Bulldog. Of course I would love for us Dawgs to win a three-peat but no matter what, I am gonna love watching my dawgs play and making memories with my dad watching them. It’s gonna be a great season no matter what. And I don’t know how our team is gonna look. But I know we’re gonna do our best. And I would be lying if I said we didn’t have a chance. We have a chance and we’re gonna take it.
