UAB Is No UGA

It’s been hard to get around to writing this post and by the time I do its like I forgot what happened in the game. So you can imagine that this we’ll be a short post. I want to really dive into these games and topics with my writing like I did last year for fun. But life gets busy and before we know it, the holidays will be here. But I can’t complain about that. To sum it all up in a matter of minutes, Georgia had a better day. There were still ups and downs in the game. Some stupid plays but also some really good ones. There was a little improvement in our Quarterback but still there are some questions there. We didn’t see any improvement on field goals but only because there weren’t any FG attempts (that was a little surprising to me. I thought we would defiantly try to get some FGs in an actual game with us playing a nobody but I understand you want touchdowns any time you can score them). We had many players on the sidelines due to injury and a few banged up players on the field that were still able to push through and play. One being none other than the Tight-end known all over Georgia and the College football world, Brock Bower’s. He’s been pretty banged up but still finds a way to play elite football. You never want to say a game is on one guy’s shoulders. But with this young team, a lot of the success rides on number 19’s shoulders. I know we have a talented team but we’ve had some struggles so far this season and it’s easy to understand why a lot of the offensive plays revolve around Bower’s at times. Especially with one of my favorite players on the sidelines with an ongoing back injury. Ladd McConkey is a talented Wideout and the team has been short handed without him. I remember those games last season where the ball seemed to be passed to Bower’s and McConkey alone. We knew they were there when we needed to score and score fast. At first, the game was a little closer than we expected to be. But as always, Georgia came out full speed in the 3rd and 4th quarter. The spread got lengthy and Georgia pulled away with another victory. The game was better than the previous ones but as soon as the game was over, everyone was looking at our next challenge (what should be our first real challenge) the Auburn Tigers or war eagles, whichever they prefer. But for now, Georgia was just glad to keep their winning streak alive. See you next in Auburn Alabama!
