Waiting For The One

This is for all the ladies out there that are just waiting for the right guy. We are in the same boat. Waiting for the one, the man that God has for each of us. And the waiting is hard. Us women get to that age where we just want to be in love. We want a man to sweep us off our feet. But at the same time, we are forgetting about the God of the universe, who in fact made love. We forget God has the right man for each of us and so we search the world for the “right guy” and just end up with broken hearts. But what if we didn’t have to look? What if we just trusted God and that he will bring along the right man for each of us? What if we were confident and content in the wait, and just lived our lives, knowing that God would lead the right man to each of us. Us young girls, we didn’t care to be in love, but then the teenage years hit and we dream about that perfect guy. We truly just want to love and be loved. But we can’t forget that we are loved by an all knowing God. He sees our hearts and knows our desires. He hears our prayers and knows our dreams. Sometimes we just have to be content in the wait. I know waiting is hard. And I have to remind myself that God has the man for me and that when the time is right, that man will sweep me off my feet. You’re worth isn’t in your relationship with a boy. You’re worth is in Jesus Christ. You have to learn to be content in life without a boyfriend. There are girls in the world who can’t imagine being single, and so they date guy after guy and have heartbreak after heartbreak. Some girls are too content with having a boyfriend that they won’t breakup a bad relationship. They want to be in love so bad that they are blinded from realizing that this guy isn’t the right fit. I say all this because it matters. You’re worth is in God, not in your boyfriend. Us ladies have to learn to be content and confident in who we are before we can be swept off our feet by that perfect guy that God made for each of us. If we were all content with waiting for that right man, we’d have less broken hearts. Ladies, God has the man for each of us, but we have to trust God and his perfect plan. When we wait on God, true love waits for us. God has the perfect man for each of us out there and the day he’ll sweep us off our feet. Hang in there.
