Ball State Blown Away

I am a bit behind on my games, as it was last night I watched the South Carolina game. But we’ve gotta review week two first. So, week two…Georgia vs Ball State. I can say that I certainly saw improvement in our team and how we played the game. Yes, it was still a slower start to the game but when we scored, we scored good and it was when we truly needed it. There was improvement in our Quarterback and that helped rekindle the hopes us fans have for this team. But again, we were playing a nobody (meaning that Georgia should have easy scoring against teams that are non-SEC and unranked. Remember, we played TCU, who was ranked and we beat them so good it looked easy). I have always been a positive fan but I also want to be an honest one. Yes, in my opinion we should have beat them better. But then I think….I think of how it is only the beginning of the season, we have so many new players in key positions, we have our juniors and seniors that have already won two nattys and then we have all of these injuries. Some of our best players sit on the sidelines. So even when I see some plays where I am like “That is not us or how we play,” I remember that some of our key players aren’t able to play and we are still a new team trying to find our identity. In the end, Ball State got blown away by our Dawgs. Our team still needs a lot of work but I know they are working hard. Our offense scored the best they could and our defense stopped Ball State many times. We had rocky moments but we worked as a team to get down the field and score. I am excited for this team and all the awesome games we are gonna witness this season. Proud of the job these Dawgs are doing and I know they are gonna get even better. Go Dawgs! God Bless!
